  1. This is probably a Very Silly Question, however I hope that someone
  2. can point me in a general direction (except /dev/null!) without
  3. flaming me too much. Here goes...

  5. I use an IBM-PC to dial up a '386 unix system which is on the internet.
  6. Using a terminal package on the PC, I logon to the unix box and then
  7. email using elm, read the usergroups with nn, and so on.

  9. recently I've been asked to provide a nice windows interface for all
  10. this wonderful internet stuff so others here at work can play with it
  11. too, without going through unix.

  13. So I've uploaded trumpet, installed it with winsock etc on my PC, but
  14. I need the unix box I dial into to talk SLIP to me. Where can I get
  15. something for the unix box to do this? What's the general procedure
  16. for doing this? Am I asking the impossible, the wrong questions,
  17. etc?
